The Postdoctoral Research Associate will conduct scientific research in both laboratory and field environments. Help build and manage new laboratories. Perform grant proposal writing. Data collection, analysis, and manuscript writing.
The Postdoctoral Research Associate will also teach and mentor students as well as support lecture and laboratory sessions.
Ph.D. in water resource, science, engineering or related fields. If the degree has not been conferred at the time of the application, a letter must be attached from the school official departments or offices certifying that all requirements for the doctoral degree have been met and stating the expected degree conferring date.
At least two publications in peer-reviewed journals. Must demonstrate significant contribution to the publications.
Aquatic chemistry, electrochemistry, microbiology, and sufficient skills in water or wastewater treatment engineering.
Experience in grant proposal writing and academic writing.
Experience in conducting lectures and instructing laboratory sessions.
Required Licenses and Certifications: A Driverâ™s License is required, as frequent site investigation and stakeholder engagement activities are expected for the position.
This is a two-year, research-oriented position. The contract for the second year will be contingent upon the performance evaluation of the first year.
