The career path of a Service Technician includes skills training in multiple trades, including IT, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and others. The Lead Service Technician position will average 45 hours a week, but will vary significantly based on the season. High season (mid-April – mid-June) may require a 6-day work week and 50-55 hours per week (excluding unpaid lunches). Role Purpose: The purpose of the Lead Service Technician position is to lead a field crew (usually one or two other individuals) in providing service, maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and remarkable customer service to residential and commercial pool and spa customers, all in accordance with Acme Pure Blu’s Vision, Mission, and Values. |
Responsibilities: • Lead by example to deliver exceedingly-remarkable levels of care, service, and solutions to our customers while upholding and embodying the values of Acme Pure Blu. • Help training and develop exceptional service technicians resulting in a world-class team that is emblematic of an aspirational brand. • Lead, manage, and participate in on-site jobs and services. • Perform residential and commercial pool and spa openings, closings, maintenance, diagnosis, repairs, upgrades, leak detection, deliveries, inspections, and consultations. • Evaluate problems and issues and make recommended solutions to customers. • Identify sales opportunities and make recommendations to customers. • Communicate with customers and office staff about work performed, issues and problems, options and solutions, and arrival and departure times. • Work with and across the Acme Pure Blu team to deliver seamless customer experiences across any channel (retail, online, in-field, phone, etc.) or department. • Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers. • Utilize relevant technology and software systems, including Evosus (POS & business management software), BioGuard Alex Pro, and others, as applicable. • Help create, implement, and then manage the adherence to Standard Operating Procedures for the Service Department. • Create and maintain organized, clean, safe, and healthy working conditions, including on job sites. • Clean and maintain equipment and vehicles. • Promote Acme Pure Blu with customers, with suppliers, and generally in the community. • Participate in vendor and industry education opportunities to improve knowledge and skills. • Participate in company and industry events, trainings, social gatherings, etc. as applicable. • Other responsibilities as assigned.
